[/quote] ICD 9 to ICD 10 testinmg 2) ways --> 1 EMR/EHR application another EDI mesg 1-ICD9 will mapped to more than 1 ICD 10 code so u need to know all those mappings( Documents available) so every EMR/HIE/EHR application sholud start using ICD10 by 2014 till now all are using ICD9 Medicad anedi one type of insurence ....in ur EMR application for medicaid there will few separate screens and little bit back end logic will be there... so need ot test with patient ...whoo is eligible medicade EDI is interfaces mainly HL7 to XML/TEXT/CSV etc.. and many other like X12 etc.. there r lot tools to generated convert these msgs.....so it depends on what type of tool one is using.. testing will be some thing different than regular testinf
