It was the movie, that marked the start of Mahesh Babu's dominance on Tollywood and taken his career into another level. Yeah, I'm talking about 'Pokiri'. But, why now?, Yesterday, a leading daily news paper(Eenadu) had published an article(this post is for all those who haven't read that), listing out some movies, which have moved from one hand(actor) to another. One of the most intersting point from that article was about 'Pokiri'. [url="http://www.thecinebay.com/news/newsdetail/id/1283"]It is reported that while writing the script of 'Pokiri' movie, it was Ravi Teja in the mind of Puri Jagannadh but not Mahesh Babu.[/url] Infact, the report goes on to say that the movie was originally named as 'Uttam Singh S/o Suryanarayana' and Ravi Teja & Parvathi Melton were supposed to be the lead pair. But in the end, it became 'Pokiri' by the time it reached Mahesh Babu and in the last minute, Ileana replaced Parvathi Melton. Spare of thought for Parvathi Melton her career would have been sky rocketed to high levels, had she been casted in the movie.[/size]
