how can people go and drop directly? and what about detroit, is it true?

Detroit consolate is closed in Feb. NY has only Drop off's or online applications. No walk ins. So foy NY i guess it's taking lot more time than expecting. So I guess it doesn't matte which Consulate u apply. I suggest to apply to Consulate which is close to ur location. (which make sense to them)
