Injury Concerns For Steyn And Ab De Villiers

A hat-trick of concerns descended on South Africa two days before their Champions Trophy opener against India on Thursday. Dale Steyn is in doubt for the fixture with a side strain, Robin Peterson took a blow to the left foot and Quinton de Kock has unofficially joined the group as cover for AB de Villiers. In case de Villiers is not fit for the opening match, Faf du Plessis is likely to lead the side. The tournament's technical committee needs to approve de Kock as a replacement before he can play in the Champions Trophy.
