You can now combine a bunch of Finder windows together into tabs, with different locations and view modes. You can drag things across tabs.

You can tag them anywhere, whether local or in iCloud, and you can find things across them all. Is this the future of folders on iCloud?

"Now that I have multiple tabs, it's a really great way to actually work and copy documents." Just grab files, hover over a tab and you can drop them wherever you like.

Currently, Mac writes inactive apps to the disk. In Mavericks, it will compress those apps into memory. 1.4x performance improvement over Mountain Lion, even with an SSD.
