For the first time in the history of Telugu cinema, the Producer BVSN Prasad has risked spending 30 crores on a film that features a hero who is not among the top 5 because the subject demanded it. This film is directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti who has Aithe and Anukokunda Oka Roju who went on to become cult films. This action adventure genre film (example Indiana Jones) is shot extensively in Ladakh. This film also features a lot of seamless special effects. BVSN Prasad had earlier produced Chatrapati - the best film in career of Prabhas so far. He was also a co-producer of Magadheera film. He has produced another runaway hit Darling with Prabhas.
