based on my stay in vizag, I conclude that its mainly navy and RINL which is holding vizag back.

And may be its citizens too, who are easy going

Need a strong mayor/politician to take on navy and their unreasonable demands.

If Telangana wants to waste money to lift water for irrigation, let them waste it. Although I hope they come up with less water intensive industries along that belt with recycled water. It's definitely doable.

separatists one of the key points is irrigation water..

for the last point agreed there will not be much difference to common people in any of the regions with division...

hyd lo development, state/central govt dabbulu isthe jarigindi. Locationally hyd has no advantages, except for service sector.

aa dabbulu vizag lo pedithe, hyd kanna chaala baaga develop avuthundi. There are some hurdles to this, because navy, RINL is given a long rope in Vizag. That is a different discussion.

leaders act on short term interests. Not just Vizag, even Nellore, and any other region that has port and is provided decent infra can overtake Hyderabad, theoretically.

I don't know much about telangana issue, but I think its not such a bad deal for Andhra people. That's all.

there will be lot of difference be it +ve or -ve if state is divided

Take example of all those states who got separated ...many gained few lost...so there will be definitely difference

but difficult to define
