[/quote] hindus prevailed because they fought back, not because of let and live policy. almost all the powerful caste groups of today where fighting muslims, sometimes each other for territory. And they were successful too. Muslims remained a minority. Until secularism gave them an opportunity to guilt trip Hindus into giving them special status, and they grew remarkably. Nuvve cheppavu ga.. 30 crores ani.. if its true.. its remarkable growth and they have to be stopped.

I personally feel there is a threat for Hinduism from Christianity due to conversions, but not from Islam...Hindu basically are liberal , they will find it hard to mingle with or convert into Islam rather than Christianity ! On the other hand , Christians are doing goebbel's propaganda that Islam is fastest growing religion across the world...infact , around the world everyday 69000 births are related to Christian parents where as Muslims giving birth to 65000 childern !

[/quote] Christian conversions can be reversed, or even assimilated in the future, with tageted benefits, etc. If Hindus are strong and confront Xians, they will eventually back down. muslims don't understand reason, only violence. So it gets messy with them.

Unless you think, it was on good faith that muslims let Hindus practise their religion without causing them trouble. The fact is, muslims never really ruled large parts of India for a long time. They were constantly threatened by local chieftains, and made war pacts with them to protect their sovereignty

Yeah, but only on their own terms. With this 'secularism' bullshit, the terms are heavily against Hindus.
