depends bhaiyya...usual gaa salary based meeda unte employer along with ur H1 extension will apply for H4 extension also....adey percentage basis meeda unte may be some employers would say that they will not pay anything for spouse contact the company lawyer for filing it and u may get some discount...anyway there is no one rule abt who should apply for H4....
