religion stopped being simply a way of life after muslims and christians racked up their numbers. It's political.

If people can write reams about casteist politics, so can they about this dirty religious politics initiated by muslims, christians. Hindus are simply reacting to this, and not well enough.

its perfectly acceptable to ban conversions to keep the status quo from changing rapidly, which may lead to a civil war.

Just follow religious exclusivism as far as practically possible, but very stealthily, and smartly.

Try and follow what you preach. Don't be shy to turn down a potential chrisitian/muslim candidate for employment if you can afford it. Don't donate to their NGOs.

Simple things can be done.

Try and block the building of churches in your neighbourhood with PILs, and strong arguments (use environmental, social arguments).

when the people making choices are naive, and illiterate, it is okay to organize to stop them from doing so. Even to the extent of making their life more difficult after their conversion. But are Hindus interested in sending out a message? Very few are.

A person is free to choose a religion of his choice. Everyone respects that in India . India and Hindus throughout history have been and still are very tolerant to people of other faiths and respect other religions. In this respect Indians and even the Americans are very tolerant.

But luring poor and needy people showing money and other incentives, with a hidden crooked agenda is a crime.. irrespective of which ever religion it is.

Muslims/xians are actually destroying the soul of our country.

Some centuries ago, white men hit the soul of our country by differentiating us based on region, language and caste and denying us the country's great education system which resulted in 200 years of slavery whose scars are yet to fade.

Now, the same people are trying to hit the soul when india is trying to get united. They are now dividing us on the basis of religion, economical differences and we ourselves are destroying it with castes.
