Since they are stalling without entertaining any discussions of a split, they'll have more of a leverage with central govt when it comes to the stage of inevitable split.

May be they are doing it according to a plan (the stalling) or are just clueless about the politics behind this all.

Also, it's quite possible the package, and its associated cost is too expensive to bear at the moment for the center.

The supporters of Telangana are not acknowledging the cost of a split. They simply assume that Seema/Andhra govt will walk away leaving 100k crores of infra for Telangana to enjoy exclusively.

But okati, state divide chesthunnam ani Andhra vallu picchi picchi korikalu korithe central govt ami antha picchi ga oppukodu. The central should also think that the demands of Andhra people should be reasonable. Emo state division istham leka crazy package which is not possible adugutharemo andhra vallu, avadiki thelsu. Andhra/Seema leaders are confident that there won't be a split. Anduku deeni gurinchi maatladatle.

But when the time comes, they won't simply hand over the excellent infra in Hyd, exclusively to Telangana govt and walk away.

separatists are confident of a new state.. andhra/seema politicians are confident of a united state.

I don't care either way. Future lies in cities, not states anyway. I bet on Vizag.
