Car Registration Expired....what To Do?

Bhaiyaa...I moved my car from Ohio to NJ, Forgot to renew my registration here in NJ, Registration Sticker expired 3 months ago....what to do ? Will I get a ticket for it?

Btw I'm not using my car in NJ.

you dont get ticket for that...just change DL to NJ and tell them that you are not driving it.....FYI what about your insurance?

Thanks mama....Insurance is paid for 6 months......so that is covered.

Expire ayina license plate ki enduku padadu bro? Nadi car konna 3 months ke bday vachindi 1 yr untundi kada ani nenu chusukoledu and cop pattukoni 250$ ticket vesadu...subbharam ga padutundi expire ayina license plate ki if cop stops...

Your car is not street legal.So will be ticketed even if it is parked in a parking lot..unless you are not atking out of your garage ,it is OK
Even insurance does not cover if your car is not legal to drive !

poster: you can renew the registration online too man. if you have any friend in that state, call the renewl tag agecny and request them to mail it to that address

New Jersey doest have fine as a fee for expired registration as long as the insurance is active all the time since the day it is expired.

just they will charge 45.00 dollars for renewal......in case of registration out of state is also same no fine.........you just need 45 dollars and title for the registration with also insurance......in case of DL......you have to provide 6 point verification docs including I797 with i94.........
