YSR Congress honorary president YS Vijayamma admitted on Tuesday that family-owned Sakshi Media has been incurring losses ever since its launch (March 24th, 2008) and it couldn't even get a break-even after 5 years. She pointed out the cancellation of advertisements to Sakshi paper as one of the reasons for this kind of situation.

With CBI & Enforcement Directorate attaching the bank accounts of Jagathi Publications as part of their ongoing investigation into disproportionate assets case, Jagan's family has no other option but to invest more money from their side for the daily operations. Selling the Sakshi paper for just Rs 2 per copy (which is half of the price other leading dailies have been charging) has also added to the burden of the YSR family.

The operations of Sakshi went on very smoothly during YSR's tenure and troubles began only after his sudden demise which led to change in leadership, followed by the launch of YSR Congress, CBI investigation and so on.

During her tour to Medak on Tuesday, Vijayamma claimed YSR's Family is rich for the past 100 years. She went onto say Jagan and Sharmila were born rich, and all the assets owned them are a result of businesses they have done. She appealed to YSRC leaders and cadre to teach a fitting lesson to Congress and TDP in 2014 polls for conspiring to trouble Jagan.
