You need to put your PS3 on standby mode, hold the power button until you hear 2 beeps. The PS3 will automatically scan the Hdmi cable.

nope....tried removing av connectors and using only HDMI cable.... same problem....

ya scan chestundi mama HDMI cable ni PS3 reset chesina tarvata.... i clicked on yes and selected HDMI to be used for both audio and video.... then I get a black screen and it stays like that until I reboot the PS3 again....

ohh dude.... got it fixed now.... when we reset the PS3 until we listen two beep sounds, then we need to be in the hdmi mode but even though when we remove the AV connectors and try to use just the HDMI cable, we still stay in AV mode and just get black screen....
