SanjayVarma Posted July 3, 2013 Report Posted July 3, 2013 My initial OPT expired last month and currently waiting for OPT extension approval.at this point is it ok for me to travel out of the country and reenter without any hassle. I will be employed during my stay abroad and have all the pay stubs from first day of OPT. Please share all your thoughts and suggestions as I desperately need some.
pinky123 Posted July 3, 2013 Report Posted July 3, 2013 though it is risky I have a frnd who did this and came back without issues however she came back only after the OPT extension was approved she got her new OPT card for the extension mailed to her India address. It is better to come back after OPT extension is approved
