You can apply for Phd in Lower to Middle rating schools. Its not that hard to finish phd in 4 years...only thing is you need to find right professor to do it . if you find a fool then you will get struck there for another 6 years.....Telecommunications field is having lot of opportunities for phds. try it and u wont loose anything.

Key to the phd is doing research in advance applications not in hard core development. if he has interest he can apply for it.........i told him that cause he is not in programme....so he can apply for it and if he doest like research then he can get out with MS within two years....He doest have to pay tuition fees...

@TS : I agree with this guy.....bt one thing nuv already masters chesav kada inko masters enduku cheyyadam.....so neeku nijamga research interst unte join for phd.......and this is the right time to do......chala mandi chala rakaluga antaru.....but u hold a Dr. before ur name........its really worth the effort......kaani phd chesaka nee meeda expectations chala perugutai job lo........and the other imp thing u can go to higher rankings in job easily.......u get lot of opportunities to move ur career forward.....
