I recently bought Kindle paper white. Reading experience is awesome. Battery stands upto 6-8 weeks .

waste enti? ereader is the greatest display tech of the century.

tab is only for browsing useless stuff, and other wasteful activities like music, movies.. etc..

I have a pocketbook 912. If you can get a hold of it, it renders even complicated math, chemistry books perfectly.

Try not to go for those touch based ereaders, coz the tech is currently a bit iffy with infrared sensors on the side. I wonder who thought of this stupid idea. Its quite inconsistent and a drag when you use it.

My suggestion is Pocketbook Pro, whichever model size fits you perfectly.

Pocketbook a ukrainian based company. I got it in Europe. You can check if there are retailers where you live. Its not easily available, I think.

Its better than Kindle, coz it doesn't restrict the book formats. Even complex pdfs are rendered effortlessly, without much lag between page turns.

Similar read quality, and battery life. Never had a problem with it, so don't know how good the customer service is. Or where to take it in case I have a repair. It is a sore point.
