Assuming best conditions, look for the immediate repairs or corrections that you may have to do. Depending on their cost, ask for that much reduction. For example: Oil change nearing: reduce $50 Tires condition (from moderately bad to worse): ask for $100 to $300 reduction Any paint scratches here and their: reduce $30 to $50 Any dents or door dings: about $50 to $100 These are just few things and my rough estimates. The bargain reductions could change from car to car and place to place.
