generally for fte's they will give upfront notice before they layoff.. some times they can take decision if they want to eliminate the position..ante nee position in company no longer exists.. they cannot hire some body in place of you with out reason.. as per rules..

did you get any compensation package ? check with your manager if they can hold your h1 revoke for some time at least some 10 - 15 days..

as nissan said there is not grace period once your h1 is revoked by company u are out of status..if you find another employer in lessthan 30 days uscis people

will consider if its not exceeded more than 30days they will approve..if excees they will give rfe saying out of status or may deny new applicaion..

u can check with manager if they can hold for some time.. mean time find some employer..if you dont get any compensation dont sign any forms..genarally forms says you r fine if they want to fill ur position wth some one..

..you have to get tickets to india from expense of company.. as per rules..


options you have finding new employer , possibe request to push h1 revoke time , join in MS to maintian status or change status to b2 i think.. so u get some time to stay in this country mean time you can find employers..

last if nothing works assuming you get some package and flights tickets from company , return to india .. to say i know its hard..

I graduated in dec 2010 and got job in march 2011. Third party inspection company, basically we test all kind of oil and gas products from refinaries. Pay ivvatame thakkuva exhausted with work, just salary nundi hourly ani adiga anthe..........
