rambabu304 Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 that is why dhoni is called a great finisher... and sachin is called a great opener........... from mid 90's to mid 2000's sachin.. they were no goodfinishers in indian side... even though when were getting good opening stand... we did not win that many matches... and all the blame was going to sachin because he did not finish the game ani.......... but now rohit is giving good opening (although he is a lot slower than any other opening batsmen) ......and dhoni is finishing it............

narsayya Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Dhoni's got a good team. Yuvraj, Sachin played well in 2011 world cup. Dhawan in champions trophy. Yuvraj in the T20 world cup in 2007, and some youngsters. Dhoni's good too, but he's not the lone wolf. He's got his team members backing him and doing a good job too. All the credit can't go to him alone.
