Intelligence Warns Central Government On Maoists Plan In Telangana

Intelligence Bureau has warned that Maoists are waiting in wings to spring a surprise in Telangana as and when separate state is announced.
It was for long suspected that Telangana may give scope to increased Maoist activity and now with the heat on against them in Chhattisgarh they are looking for a safety valve where they can expand their activity. Though they may have become physically eliminated from Telangana, there is no dearth of sleeper cells and sympathizers for the movement, especially in north Telangana.
Moreover, IB has also reportedly warned about political instability in Andhra Pradesh. Now the million dollar question is whether Congress can exploit this report to delay decision or will it display the political courage to stand upto its word and grant statehood ?
This will definitely be a point that will be discussed in CWC meeting.
Especially after what they’ve seen in chattisgarh recently, Digvijay Singh will certainly make CWC members think in that direction.
