As a consulting firm we handle a variety of clients and have many concurrent projects that put your critical thinking and problem solving skills to the test. We are looking for .NET developers with a background in web to join our team. You will be working very closely with me in not only solving my client's problems of today, but also in helping to engage their users is a more rich and productive experience. We are a agile development team seeking people who are self-starters that can solve problems creatively, communicate effectively, and collaborate well with our team members. The web developer will be responsible for the development of new web applications, and additions to existing. This position is for on-site, in office, so you will be working with us in our Downtown PDX office. This position is currently not open to those requiring H1-B criteria. This is not a PHP position, strong knowledge of the Microsoft .net frameworks will be required.
Responsibilities:
Develop web solutions using [url="http://asp.net/"]ASP.NET[/url] C#, Javascript,AJAX, jquery, bootstrap, Komodo, Linq, and yes, HTML
Build and Interact with SQL Databases
Strong background in identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex problems
Maintain and modify legacy code in existing web apps
Identify and suggest new ways to streamline existing code
Research and deploy new web-based technologies including open source
Work with other team members to address UI/UX or workflow issues to create web apps that can be used intuitively
Support cross-browser compatibility; Internet Explorer, Chrome/Safari and Firefox
Skills Required:
[url="http://asp.net/"]ASP.NET[/url] web developement using C# .NET 2.0 & 3.5, 40+
Proficient with MS Visual Studio 2010 or later
Object-Oriented Design and Programming knowledge
HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, jQuery
Preferred Skills
MS SQL Server, LINQ, oData, REST and T-SQL experience
Familiarity with Subversion, Git and Mercurial
Familiarity with Merge tools such as WinMerge
Experience deploying high-availability web applications
MVC and Entity Framework experience a plus
Experience with SOAP, WCF, EDMX and ASMX web services a plus[/font][/color][/size]
