H4 I-94 Missng

Bhaiyaa,

I have applied for H4 last october and USCIS has sent me the approval notice directly but without I-94 attached at the bottom. Is it a mistake from USCIS side ?
now when i went for knowledge test for driving they need an I-94 . Can you pls tell me what to do?

They have provided me a variance document and after submitting that it wud take one month for appoval or denial it seems..does anyone have any clue what is this variance document ?

I spoke with employer as well he says there wud be only one appoval doc sent by USCIS and since i have one he doesnt have the approval document it seems..

can anyone pls suggest??

if the date on your previous I94 is same as the new one(i mean approval for the new one does not have a extended date)...i think you can use your old I94...kani naku doubt..lets wait for db peddalu...

fill the I94 missing person details, you can see the I94 or you can get in email..

You need to attend interview in your home country....

You need leave the country immediately.....

Check with your lawyer.....................

I94 number leka pothe illegal to work/stay in US.. best one is to check with Lawyer.

illegal stay will makes more problem in case of GC's

cbp site is only if you have arrived /crossed border in to USA
Where as new H1s/status changed cases and extensions are administered by USCIS
So contact USCIS through your lawyer
Most probably you may have applied for H1/H4 extension after your I-94 got expired.In that case you meed to leave the country and re-enter with new I-94 (Visa stamping may be required if your current visa on passport is expired)

I guess that your i-94 was expired before you applied for status change
If that is the case you will not get a new I-94 along with your extension approval
The only way is to exit and re-enter the country with valid Visa stamping !
You are actually staying in country with proper /valid status.Contact a lawyer immediately for your options.

Just now, While I'm checking with my employer and attorney, i heard a situation.
If the H1B approval status comes with I94 then its ok to stay in US, if the H1B approval don't have I94 then i needs to leave US and come back with a valid stamping.
So better check with any attorney or contact Murthy's form for some more updates
