naidu Posted July 23, 2013 Report Posted July 23, 2013 first of all naku anni gurtu levu..3years ayuntadi ne work chesi ..just follow simple things..prepare a flow chart of what needs to be done in d package.. ex: 1.read from excel\csv file 2.insert into data base table 3.so on coming to package open new ssis package 1.create connections to ur database which is required to insert into table. 2.now go to ur first step in the flow chart ..to read from excel\csv..just think what i should use from the tool list..drag and drop the element\tool which supports reading input files and give the properties like file path etc 3. now 2nd step in the flow..check the element which supports ur table(oracle\sql connection)...drag and drop the corresponding one and select the table name by linking to the database connection . 4.connect the elements created in 2 and 3 and run.. if you need a sample package i can send..right now i don't have business intelligence installed on my personal lappy so iam unable to open and give u the exact details..just a suggestion..tension is the main culprit..naku undi ..in the process of overcoming it..but vadileste u can remember everything all d best
