Tdp Wave In Andhra

The counting in 5792 Gram Panchayats across the state is going on at a brisk pace and results that are found till now are giving shock to the ruling party. Congress felt that the results of Panchayat elections will give clarity to high command about the situation in AP and no doubt they will open eyes now.

Right now, the competition in the local body polls is between Congress and Telugudesam only, if we have to go by the reports we are getting by poll booths. With counting started in many districts, right now Telugudesam is leading in West Godavari, Guntur, Prakasam, Krishna, Chittoor, Srikakulam. TDP and Congress are equally winning seats in districts like Kadapa, Vijayanagaram and Visakhapatnam. In Chittoor, TDP supporting contestants have given tough time for YSR-C backed candidates. Among the counted 65 Sarpanch position results, TDP is leading with 23, while YSR-C follows with 18 and Congress with 14. Even in Telangana regions, Congress and TDP are about to close the counters with slightest variations.

Looking at the results, a strong TDP wave is expected to sweep Andhra region completely, while the party will get into either a lead or second place in T-region. Watch this space for minute to minute updates. Final results of the polls are expected to come out faster than expected.
