In 51 states in USA is applicable....car registration they need insurance, car license home address proof required...this logic is not even known by people in DMV...so dont agree with dmv people if they say you need to have license in the state where car is registered.

It's allowed. Just the people in DMV does't know that. many people maintain vacation homes in state x where car is registered, permanent home in state y where business is done.
