When i was in School,i read in Telugu textbook;
1)Potti Sriramulu fought for formation of AP
(WRONG:He faught for separation of Andhra from Madras state and AP was formed 3 years after he died)

2)Indian got independence on 15th August 1947
(We have been never told that Telangana got Independence and merged with India in 1948,September 17)
(The people of TG were never ere under British rule,but still we were under impression that our older generation were fighting with Britishers for freedom struggle)

3)We have been fed up with bravery lessons of Tanguturi prakasham pathulu,alluri seetarama raju etc and they are projected as heros of 'our' land namely andhras.But in reality we have nothing to do with them)

4)We have been told that Tanguturi prakasham was the first CM of Andhra Pradesh (infact he was for Andhra) and coolly forgot to mention the the first CM of Hyderabad State (which also included 10 districts of Telangana) Mr.Boorgula Rama Krishna Rao !
5)The text books glorified andhra festivals like 'atla theddhe' and even cared to mention TG festivals like 'Bathukamma' etc

The seemandhra govt successfully tried erase the history and culture of Telangana !
