ippude ndtv lo raasindu atleast a sigh of relief for Andhra state, as hyd was not just developed itslef it developed with the contribution of everyone so it would not have been a wise decision to give away hyd directly to TG and ask Andhra to start building their capital from scratch now this will give time for Andhra to develop a new city as their capital

Peculiar situation:
One state having capital in other state !
May be TG can start up toll booths on Seemandhra border and profit from incoming traffic and profit from revenues for next 10 years !

It will be foolish for andhra people to accept Hyderabad as common capital for extended period and lose on development..instead they should start building new capitla at the earliest !

they can start the development of a new city immediately but what about their taxes on investments in TG they will be paying taxes to TG and this will not help AP to make any income on their investments in hyderabad so i guess they should plan it carefully which generally our ministers wont they will end up screwing common man

Remember,Hyderabad is not going to be UT and even if it for 30 yrs..no problem for TG,as they are nothing going to lose, but profit form additional revenue and taxes paid by andhra people and businesses

Agreed....but makes sense...its up to them....whether to leave...or start developing their own capital from now itself. Its just a place holder just to not hurry up or suffer common man...it may be andhraite or someone...

Common capital ante, revenue will be shared. and it can be spent on developing an alternate capital slowly.

However, it'd have been better if there was a package for Andhra. I don't think Central govt has the funds right now.

Yes,revenue may be shared ..but not all of them can not be accounted or shared..like property taxes are paid to local authorities and what about revenue generated in greater Hyderabad region ?
At the max sales tax or income tax can be accounted and shared ..but not revenue on registration, toll, octroi, inderect taxes, sales taxes can not be accounted or shared

Registration will be shared, toll too. Except taxes levied by GHMC, everything can be shared. But GHMC taxes and tariffs are only for services provided by them, like water, property, vacant land taxes can't be. But these aren't much, compared to income, sales, and registration taxes.
