3) All efforts are being made to reject the bill in state assembly. I know that state assembliy's opinion doesnt matter for the center decision. but if the state assembly rejects the bill it will become a MORAL OBLIGATION for the center to act. very rarely do parliament will act against the state assembly's interest. Also this will give the BJP as the main opposition party to question govt decision to divide the state. (This is a forgone conclusion as SA MLA's are numerically more....Congrats to all SA MP's
