[color=#333333]If anybody interested in Air Force, here is some info.(MAVNI) is a recruiting program which allows certain legal, non-citizens to enlist in the Air Force. The Air Force is enlisting Airmen onto Active Duty with critical language and culture skills in one of seven strategic languages. What are the Program Criteria guidelines? Must have a valid and unexpired VISA issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). VISA must not expire before entering active duty VISAs issued to asylees, refugees, aliens admitted under Temporary Protected Status, or for non-immigrant categories of E, F, H, I, J, K, L, M, O, P, Q, R, S, T, TC, TD, TN, U or V are acceptable for enlistment. Must have maintained residency in the United States in an eligible VISA status for a minimum of two years prior to enlistment. Must have no single absence from the United States of more than 90 days during the two year period immediately preceding the date of en[/color][color=#333333]listment. Applicants with five or more trips outside of the United States, of any duration, during the two-year period immediately preceding the date of enlistment require approval. Must meet Air Force enlistment criteria to include: high school diploma or higher, qualifying scores on the Armed Forces Qualification Test (ASVAB) and Defense Proficiency Test (DLPT) or Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) in the native language. Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, speak and understand English. What type of Job will I be performing? All Air Force accessions will be contracted as 8D100, Language and Culture advisors How long must I enlist for? 4 or 6 years Where will I be stationed? All accessions are assigned to Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Hurlburt Field, FL. What are the current languages recruited? Air Force requires increased capacity in the following foreign languages in support of the Special Operations Forces Command mission. The list is not in priority order; all languages are equally relevant.
