Media Failed To Play Its Role As A Fourth Estate !

In the case of Telangana issue, the political parties are regionally divided. So the situation is beyond politics. In that case, the Media will act as a Medium and set up discussions to address the issues. That is the reason I put the topic as the fourth estate of any country (Media) has failed to play its role.

Out of 18 regional channels in the state, 15 are owned by SeemaAndhra. This might be part of the reason whey they failed.

National media news in not in synch with the regional media.


Every Regional Media channel that is covering the agitation in SeemaAndhra only asks the people what will their next steps be.

I would have appreciated if they have asked:

1. Why we need to stay united.
2. What are the advantages of staying united
3. In what way are you losing the ground if the state gets demerged
4. Even if you are successful in keeping the state united, do you think they can patch up the people in Telangana who strongly oppose united AP.
5. Why are students below 15 years are allowed to participate in the agitation who have not idea of the scenario in the state.
6. Just because we speak Telugu, does it mean we have to united. So what if the population grows to 20 crores?
7. Potti Srirammulu only fought for seperate state for Telugus who are in Madras but never asked to merge Andhra with Telangana. Why are people using the name of Potti Srirammulu.
8. When all the REGIONAL and NATIONAL parties in the country ( Congress, BJP, TRS, TDP, YSRCP) put in their agenda that they support formation of Telangana, then for which party did SeemaAndhra people vote for ?
9. Why did SeemaAndhra people did not start a party like TRS to prove their strength for United AP.
10 Why did SeemaAndhra people did not show any concern for their fellow telugu citizens when they were facing the problems with the Water, budget and Jobs allocation.


Any new questions are welcomed. Please put your answers in a decent way. Don't try to defame people. Just address the issue.

Very good post, i am following the news everyday and 90% of the news chanels failed to help andhra people and instead are trying to make their life miserable by promoting false movement just because to help some corporate business people. This is only because as said above 90% of the channels belong to seemandhra guys.

Ee news channels completely failed ayya ee telengana icchanaka. Vallu people ni educate cheyyatam manesi reccha goduthunnaru. Vallu eppudu news veyyalsindi mana future capital emundali and ela danni build hcesukovali ani, but inka HYD HYD ani prjalanu reccha gaduthunnaru.
