Congress MP from Vijayawada, Lagadapati Rajagopal has made sensational comments in a live debate show conducted by NTV. While interacting with various peoples JACs that are demanding resignations of Seemandhra protesters, he confirmed that he resigned to MP post 10 days back itself.

'I request all the people to defeat any person who is not standing for Samaikyandhra slogan. Even I've failed to keep the state united, yes, I'm feeling shy for what our party has done', said Lagadapati, in a loud tone. He requested the people to defeat him in the next election if they feel that he is not working for the cause of united Andhra Pradesh. 'I said on July 31st that people will revolt against the decision made by Congress. That is what happened today and no politician is behind the Seemandhra protesters', he adds, highlighting the determination of people living in Coastal regions and Rayalaseema.

Once again Lagadapati re-confirmed that he is not going to quit until he voices his opinion before Antony Committee. 'Nothing will be moved forward until Antony Committee solves all the issues related to Seemandhra people', the Congress MP assured.
