Indraja (Sridevi), daughter of Lord Indra, descends on Earth, along with her friends. She’s so mesmerized with the beauty of Manasarovar that she begins to sing a song, “Andaalalo aho ahodayam bhoolokame navodayam”.
Looking back at this scene, it wouldn’t be surprising if there was a collective gasp from the audience in the movie theatres. It’s a surreal moment in the film. Sridevi looked every bit the angel & celestial being that she plays in the film and it would have taken a monumental effort to not fall for her charm after watching the film.
