[size=5][color=#000000][font=Lato, sans-serif][b][font=inherit]Hyderabad: [/font][/b][font=inherit]The AP High Court on Monday asked the advocate-general and a petitioner advocate to explain if the court had jurisdiction to direct the Governor to recommend the Central government to impose President’s rule in the state in view of the political unrest and failure of the rule of law after the announcement about the formation of a separate Telangana state.[/font][/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=Lato, sans-serif]A division bench comprising Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice K.C. Bhanu was dealing with a PIL by J.P. Rao, an advocate, urging the HC to direct the Centre to impose President’s Rule in AP.[/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=Lato, sans-serif]The Chief Justice said “the court will issue the writ of mandamus if a government organisation fails in its duties. As for imposition of President’s rule, the Governor is empowered to act on it. The bench granted a week to to examine the legal provisions to assist the court to deal with the PIL. The matter was adjourned to August 26.[/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=Lato, sans-serif]The AP High Court on Monday dismissed a PIL by the state unit of the People’s Union for Civil Liberties urging it to direct the Centre to order a CBI probe into the “unlawful activities” of Amanchi Krishnamohan, the Congress MLA from Chirala in Prakasam district.[/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=Lato, sans-serif]PUCL state president Jaya Vindyala filed the petition alleging that the state executive in Chirala town was working as per the whims and fancies of the local MLA. The High Court said the PIL was premature.[/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=Lato, sans-serif]A division bench comprising Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice K.C. Bhanu on Monday directed the government to start negotiations with junior doctors with an open mind. The bench appreciated the doctors for calling off their strike while dealing with a petition by Lala Ramu of Hyderabad against the strike.[/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=Lato, sans-serif]The government counsel contended that the demands of junior doctors were unreasonable and the counsel for junior doctors argued that the government was not ready to hold discussions.[/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=Lato, sans-serif]The HC on Monday said that RTC buses causing pollution and were not adhering to emission standards must be replaced in a phased manner within a year. The court was dealing with a petition by one Dr Rama Mohan.[/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=Lato, sans-serif]The AP High Court on Monday issued notices to recognised national parties and regional parties of the state on a petition seeking a direction to the EC to restrain candidates from contesting from several constituencies in the same election. The court was dealing with a petition by Venugopala Reddy.[/font][/color][/size]

Naaku telisinanta varaku..... High Court doesn't have the right to Direct the Governor for President Rule...
