Hyd lo lolli aipoyina ekkuva mandi ostharu ani guarantee ledhu. may be s/w gallu vastharemo, but traditional industries will diversify their presence and Hyd's growth will be definitely affected.

For the simple reason, that Hyd is too big a city for TG to satisfy its needs. The expense of doing business in Hyd will slightly escalate because of the input costs and state-state transaction cost. There's a reason why only big states have done well in India, except the small ones close to delhi.

However if TG is well governed, it may reach great heights because it has a ready made cash cow in the form of Hyderabad. I don't think that's going to happen though. Hyd will slowly wither away from prominence and TG will remain a mediocre state compared to its southern neighbours.

Unless Andhra exploits its coastline, and forms Andhra gas to explore offshore oil/gas fields, it'll meet he same fate as TG.

What is the projected revenue from such a TG state. will be approx. less than half of the current AP revenue.

This will probably affect Hyd's ability to invest in further infra projects, or even in completing existing ones.

On the other hand, can Hyd lift the entire TG region? This is also quite possible. Depends on the kind of governance the first few TG govts give.

The problem may be, Andhra is sure to get a whole load of tax waivers, which will encourage most industries to shift to Andhra, which also has couple of good ports for ease of import/export.
