Seemandhra Strike: Apsrtc Incurs Rs.200 Cr Loss

Hyderabad, Aug 23: APSRTC managing director AK Khan has said that the corporation was incurring a loss of Rs.13 crores everyday, due to the turmoil in Seemandhra.[/color]

Speaking to the media here on Friday, he said that the RTC incurred Rs.200 crore loss due to the strike in the Seemandhra region. He made it clear that the survival of the corporation would become a question if the strike continued further and the economic situation of the corporation was serious. He urged the staff to withdraw their strike keeping the bad economic situation of the corporation and the problems facing the people due to the RTC strike.[/color]

On the other hand, Transport Minister Botcha Sathyanarayana has held discussions with the employees’ unions leaders at Ministers Quarters premises here on Friday.[/color]
