Lamakaan celebrates 'Telugu Language Day' by commemmorating Gidudu Rama Murthy's 150th Birth anniversary. We reminisce the great linguist - who told the world that speaking in Dialects is not a shame and that there is no one standard way of pronouncing a language - by launching a couple of books written in Telugu Dialects - Tondanaadu Kathalu and Irudoddula Kathalu.
The writers and editors of the books Nandhyala Narayana Reddy, Votra Purushottam, Saamala Ramesh Babu of Nadusthunna charithra, Anil Atluri of kinige.com and other invitees will be in presence.
We will discuss about the importance of diversity in languages in various geographical regions of the world.
All are welcome.
