[/quote] 0% APR is bullshit.... they are collecting interest money before transfer... for example... you have 5000 available for balance transfer... they say 0%...but charges 5% or $10 whichever higher... so 5000 x 5% = 250 your final transfer is 4750... here is a simple calc... i=pnr/100 i.e 5000/.05/15 = $316 (appx.) So interest for 15 months is $316 and they are collecting $250 before actual transfer..... My question is... $10 or $20 as transaction fee is good and reasonable.. why this % ? So at the end.... advise ... is... if you have other loans where you are paying higher interest .. then the balance transfer is good option.... DON'T GO FOR IT just because the OFFER...
