am kind of trying to find out how they assemble such huge crowds.. money is the reason ofcourse but any unfold scenario we didn't know?

public meetings actual intention was to convey the idea(s) of a leader to the public in mass and to know public pulse and create a some kind of impact by strong wordings and energize them.(those were the days ..only radios were used to address but not possible for every leader to speak in radio)

Now a days there are lot of other means and ways to convey #1
#2 There is nothing much a leader can to public ...public r smart enough to know every thing...

that is the reason ...most of the public meetings were converted to road shows thus by reducing the burden on local leaders(who normally gather the public)

Some times like TG/SA Agitations...public meetings are held to create mass hysteria and even public due to emotions will attend such meetings

public r not interested in attending the regular political meetings any more (if not paid)
