Kaani you can't take it to india man. Airport lo customs chala strict ga unnaru ippudu. Female can carry some limited ornaments, And male even less ornaments. Buiscuits aithe light theesko you have to pay Customs Tax.

My suggestion: Better if he wants to buy gold better buy in India itself and leave there and come back to USA with limited ornaments or with bare hands. Anyways after coming to USA you can buy ornaments here since its bit less as of now.

Another suggestion, ade dabbu ammayi perlo bank lo vesthe vaddi aina vasthundi. And you can do fixed, and they can buy whatever they want at anypoint of time.
