However, the college administration rubbished the allegations of ragging and said that she was weak in English and was depressed for a long time.[/size][/font][/color][color=#000000][font=arial][size=3] "The pharmacy classes are held on the 3rd floor and according to the students, she reached the class on time that day. However, she left after 15 minutes and students saw her going on the terrace. Some students also tried to call her to the class before the commencement of the class but she did not replied. There is a difference of 35 minutes when the students last saw her and her fatal plunge. According to the police, no suicide note was recovered from the spot and we are still investigating the matter," a member of the team said. "No incident of ragging has been reported till date in our college. CCTV cameras are installed in the campus to prevent any such act and according to eyewitnesses, she was crying when she got down from the bus that day. She went upstairs after a brief visit to the class and jumped from there," group registrar GT Panikar clarified to media persons. "We neither found a suicide note nor were able to take her statement. Our investigation now relies on the circumstantial evidences and we have also questioned some students and staff of the college," a police officer said. "A case has been registered against some senior students and the college administration. Investigations are on and we are waiting for the post-mortem report," Alok Pathak, PRO Media said.
