[color=#262626]Bollywood offered two very different flavours for movie buffs last Friday – the much-loved love story via Shuddh Desi Romance, and a remake of the Amitabh Bachchan-classic Zanjeer. The two films have one thing in common: a Chopra heroine. SDR starred Parineeti Chopra and Priyanka Chopra was the big name in Zanjeer. [color=#262626]A remake of the 1973 film, Apoorva Lakhia’s Zanjeer marked the Bollywood debut of popular southern star Ram Charan Teja, who stepped into the role of ACP Vijay Khanna, originally essayed by Amitabh Bachchan. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh the film barely collected Rs 3.58 crore on the opening day and a total of Rs 10.16 crore in the first weekend.[/color]
