Salaries To ‘T’S, But Not To Seemandhras

The APSRTC is contemplating seeking financial assistance from the government to stay afloat in view of the escalating losses owing to the Samaikyandhra agitation. Such is the Corporation’s dire state that it could pay this month’s salaries only to employees of the T-region, while salaries of those protesting in the Seemandhra region were not disbursed.[/size][/font][/color][color=#444444][font=Arial,][size=4]
“Salary payment comes to Rs.260 crore for all the 3 regions, and we managed to disburse 125 crore as salaries for T-employees this month,” an RTC official said.[/size][/font][/color][color=#444444][font=Arial,][size=4]
Employees of as many as 123 depots in Seemandhra have been protesting since Aug 13, and the RTC has already suffered a cumulative loss of about Rs.350 crore, and the going is getting tough each day thanks to the ongoing strike.[/size][/font][/color][color=#444444][font=Arial,][size=4]
Of the total revenue of the Corporation, 80% is utilised for payment of salary and oil expenditure.[/size][/font][/color][color=#444444][font=Arial,][size=4]
The Corporation has also decided to convene a board meeting later this week to discuss measures to be adopted for bailing it out and the future course of action including seeking financial support from the government.[/size][/font][/color][color=#444444][font=Arial,][size=4]
The seemandhra RTC employee convenor appealed to the management to disburse salaries for the days employees had worked and hopeful it would consider their plea.[/size][/font][/color][color=#444444][font=Arial,][size=4]
Interestingly, private bus operators are conducting services everyday to both the coastal and Rayalaseema regions from the capital without any major hindrance.[/size][/font][/color]

Monthly salary 7-8k vuntadi...inga avi kuda rakapothe etla batukutaru...manaki 40-50k vastane saripovadam ledu....8k tho family motham poshiyyalante, rent, pillala school fees, power bills, grocerries ante vallaki dandam pettali....
