Zanjeer has emerged as one of the biggest disasters of the year. The film costing around 60 crore including print and marketing costs has managed to gross under 10 crore nett in its first weekend.[/font][/color]

The film does have a Telugu version (Thoofan) which has done better due to its opening but even that version has falling collections. The Hindi version will not even do a share of 10 crore. The breakdown for the first three days is as follows.[/font][/color]
