Travel To India - F1 Visa About To Expire

Hi ,


I am planning to go to india this november and will return by December 15th.

I am in OPT-EXT and it is until OCT-2014. But my visa expires in Jan 2nd week.

Am I safe to travel before 20 days of my visa expiry. Does Immigration officers at port of entry will make any issues?


Please help me on this if you any idea or any one of friends did this kind of travel.

Naaku kuda same concern undhi, google lo search chesthe if you have a valid-Visa you can travel and you should have all the documents needed to re-entry ani undhi...

wat is port of entry ?
its a risk...to take...but its not completely true tht u wudnt be allowed..
if you are coming in before your visa expires u shd be ok...and again it all depends on the officer at the entry..

My Port of entry would be IAD( washington Dulles airport)
