As long as you dont sign on any company decisions like payrolls or money related documents, you are good to invest how much ever you want... it can be considered as stake holder(sleeping partner) as long as you invest and DON'T SIGN on any company Docs... And there is a way to Convert that Investment in to a business to have business based GC... (Ofcourse you have to show profits with in 2 years and have to give the employment to GC/ Citizens)

But ... paper meda edyna dcision making signs pedite , they can be documented and can be shown as proof ....
