Akumbakum Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 My F1 visa expires on dec 16, 2013. I completed my masters in 2 years and used 25 months of OPT. Now I enrolled for Other masters because esari naku H1 Raledhu ......next year cheskundam anukuntunaaa and my sevis is transferred to the new school. My school starts from Oct 2013. I'm planning to go to India sEP 25 and return in the first week of Oct I got travel i20 from the new school but Im not sure if I can travel before 3 months of my visa expiry. Would that be ok if I travel to India before 3 months of Visa expiry? ( I have my passport valid till 2017 and a signed travel i 20 from the new school). Could some one please answer my question?

[/quote] maama.....not to create panic in you....before you go, explain the situation in your univ and ask them if you can go. if possible, talk to an immigration attorney recent ga students ni p o entry daggara baaga strict cheshiru....secondary inspection ni edho chesthunaru...na friend ni sent back(his case is different - new sevis, old visa) and athani mundhu inko athani kuda sent back anta and he was on opeetee.

Immigration officer at the port of entry has the right to decline entry to you.... So ne case ni batti neke telustundi.... you can ask the exact same question emailing the US consulate in Hyd..... Can I re-enter with particular months of F1 left ani... valla response ni print out tesi vunchuko... Port of entry lo kudaradu ani emanna natakalu cheste adi chupinchey musukuntaru.... Go for stamping if you have a genuine case....
