[color=#000000][font=arial, verdana, sans-serif, FreeSans][size=3]Once while shooting a pan India car commercial, a foreigner friend of mine accompanied me.[/size][/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=arial, verdana, sans-serif, FreeSans][size=3]We visited Manali for the shoot and from there went to Kerala.[/size][/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=arial, verdana, sans-serif, FreeSans][size=3]My friend was simply ‘shocked’ by the difference that he witnessed.[/size][/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=arial, verdana, sans-serif, FreeSans][size=3]‘How can two different parts of the same country be so varied,’ he asked me.[/size][/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=arial, verdana, sans-serif, FreeSans][size=3]And to add to his sense of wonder, I took him to Gangtok thereafter.[/size][/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=arial, verdana, sans-serif, FreeSans][size=3]He was speechless![/size][/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=arial, verdana, sans-serif, FreeSans][size=3]‘How do you guys manage with so much variety,’ he asked me.[/size][/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=arial, verdana, sans-serif, FreeSans][size=3]Though I am a Bengali, I have done films on Kashmiris, Punjabis, Bengalis and Tamils.[/size][/font][/color]
