Kamal's Vishwaroopam 2 Release Plan

The shooting of the most awaited sequel 'Vishwaroopam 2' is progressing at a brisk pace and the shooting is in its final leg with just one or two days of patchwork remaining. The buzz in K-town is that the film may hit the screens by the third week of November, tentatively on November 22.

With the grand success that the first part managed early this year, there is every likelihood that the sequel repeats the success story. With Ajith's much awaited 'Arrambam' hitting screens for Diwali and Rajinikanth's 'Kochadaiyaan' touted to release on the Superstar's birthday (12th December), looks like Kamal Haasan is planning a solo release between these two biggies.

The Diwali releases would have settled by that time and it would be apt for Vishwaroopam 2 hit the screens and rock the box office. Kamal Haasan is planning to release the film along with the Hindi version to get maximum screens and ensure a big opening for the film. Kamal, Andrea, Shekar Kapoor, Rahul Bose and Pooja Kumar are part of the cast with music by Ghibran. Bollywood actress Waheeda Rehman has been roped in to play Kamal Hassan's mother in Vishwaroopam 2.
