I've already said that rich NRIs spending on iPhone which costs $299 there is different from a guy who spends half of his month's salary for the same in India. With a bit of research, one can buy a phone under ₹10,000 with comparable specs in India.

And nenu, apple products use chesanu. My family lo andariki aa alavaatu antichi, now I'm sick of their overpriced products. Simple reason, they have a closed system, and their developer support sucks (my earliest reason to leave Apple, now I'm no longer a developer). I bought a macbook pro in 2006, by the start of 2007, I removed MacOS tiger and installed gentoo there.

Apple products have the same issue of overheating, battery draining. And on top of that, they are outdated hardware on their products. Also, they are way over their arse with delusions of 'innovation' that they don't even conform to industry standards.

Steve Jobs death is irrelevant here. the designer behind apple products is mostly Johnny Ive.

I value freedom, so I like Android. Simple.

I only wondered why middle class indians aspire to buy iPhone. My ₹5500 phone is atleast half as awesome as iPhone at 1/10th of the price. lol

[/quote]I am using mac since like 4 yrs...naku eppudu heat anipele mari...oka 4 mnths back edo issue vachi storeki velthe..they replaced the whole outer shell of the laptop which wuld have costed $580...btwn I got mine for $800 in 2009 whn thrz a sale...I dnt think no other company vl honor this kind of service...u r comparing prices n service in india to US...thts different

The quality is almost the same, although apple fanbois won't agree and continue to use their overpriced phone, and the price is dead cheap

I'm not sure they give extended warranty for more than 2 yrs.

Any production company particularly Electronic companies mostly follow JEDEC standards which means that each of their product is qualified to the same level of performance. The price actually depends on the supplier and business strategy you follow. Apple low balls with each of their customer but charges its customers high price. Likewise Samsung. These two companies literally steal money from the public.

everyone have caught up with Apple long back. A chinese manufacturer will make an exact iPhone replica for you for $100 if you order a 1000 pieces.

[/quote]I got the lap in dec 2009. Extened warranty ebaylo I got 4 around 150- 200..ya extended 2 yrs kada...mine got expired on jan 6, 2013 or sumthng..so it shuld b around 8 mnths bck thn

All these people here claim that iPhone somehow performs much better than Android devices, and I can't argue with that since i've never used an iPhone, and my gf who's got an iPhone 5 never lets me touch hers until I agree that Android sucks. lol.

One of these days, I'm gonna steal it and see how cool iPhone really is.
